Hey!
I want to say thanks for coming over and introducing yourself to me.  It's so great to meet people I've only previously met on line.
I tried your link and even cut-n-pasted the password, but it tells me the password is incorrect.
 Cheers!!

Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

That is awesome! Eric, your raffle formula is awesome and love the fact I can try and win what I want rather than a general raffle. I will definitely be adapting this raffle formula for LRC and the remaining FreshKATs tourneys. Can't wait for next year's GS!!

Echoing everyone else: I had a great time!  I always look forward to the Gimme Shelter events.  The camaraderie, generosity, and friendliness of the NCKA club really shines at these events, and I always look forward to chatting and hanging with so many NCKA members in person.  Thanks for hosting another awesome event Eric!

MattSwayze and I fished Wednesday through Saturday.  Wednesday and Thursday were dedicated to salmon and halibut...echoing everyone else, those bites were dead as hell.  The saving grace on Thursday were the sand dabs, of all things.  When our halibut baits were being ripped apart at 170 FOW, we switched up to smaller hooks and started loading up on sand dabs.  It was a blast!  Neither of us had ever fished for dabs before.  Kinda felt like we were kids, reeling in bluegill on 40 pound line  :smt044.  Friday and Saturday were dedicated to bottom fish, and despite the sloppy conditions, we both came away with some nice fish.  Nothing earth-shattering, but plenty of lings in the 25-30 inch range to keep us happy.  Highlight fish of the trip for me was a 14 inch red Irish Lord.  I've only caught a handful of these fish along the CA coast over the years (we're at the southern limit of their range), but the 14 incher marked my second-largest I-Lord ever so I was pretty stoked.  They make great tacos too!
