Well, we had plans to head to the cove on Sunday (Mothers Day), but we had a major setback. The Man-Van decided to give up the ghost. This was a very difficult time for me as the van was acquired from our brother Joel "Mooch" Lotilla. Also our main means of transport for yak and gear to the cove. Things were looking grim indeed.
Than my wonderful wife of nearly 25 years made a decision that blew me away. It will require us to remain home a couple more days, but we will be arriving at the cove mid Tuesday in a much newer and better equipped Man-Van II

Congrats on the new vehicle!  Unreliable transportation can ruin the best of days.  Looking forward to seeing you guys at "The Cove".  I think many of us are arriving Wednesday afternoon.

Same here.  Can't get any work done  now so might as well go home and start packing 

Staging  gear now. The Monterey bay is getting a small constant rain . Hoping the salmon bite picks up soon here. We are getting them scattered in the bay.
Out a little far for a kayak.
Looking forward to catching my first salmon from a kayak at Shelter Cove

    "I Failed as Much as I can and I can't Fail no More…", but, I think I squeaking by with a 71.115 on Stats,    Woot Woot!!!
