Staging  gear now. The Monterey bay is getting a small constant rain . Hoping the salmon bite picks up soon here. We are getting them scattered in the bay.
Out a little far for a kayak.
Looking forward to catching my first salmon from a kayak at Shelter Cove

Hopefully the salmon move in.  As of now most of the action is out of Fort Bragg.  We should have some new info on the salmon bite this weekend.  There is usually a few trout sized around Bread n Butter though.  For anyone fishing Friday or earlier, I'll be hunting halibut once or twice.

More than welcome to set up at mine as soon as i figure out what site i get late thursday night. More than likely , just me at my site. Unless someone else is looking to share one.

Mandatory safety meeting at the boat launch on Friday, May 15th at 5PM.  It's a good place to pick up your tournament packet, meet friends old and new, and get important information from a local guide.   

If you cannot be there then please check in with others once you arrive at the Cove, so you can receive any important tournament updates, weather issues...etc.
