any fish landed yet ....I know someone had to get O.T.W  last weekend for the Xmas lure event?

I am chomping at the bit after losing a big fish on mine---then getting multiple hits and take downs on it--then losing the jig itself 


I've posted these already but they went under the knife today at work for some this weekend updates ....here Lingy Ling...c'mon baby... 

Hopefully tomorrow morning is launchable.  I haven't been able to catch a good day when I'm off.   I will report as soon as I land a winner!

I can feel the excitement in our recent posts.  It's almost like awaiting for the sleigh to arrive at your house.  I am looking forward to the fish pictures in the contest.    There appears to be a number of us heading out soon.   Please keep a watchful eye on each other.  The swells may be down but always be vigilant.

Santa Raydon. .does this "spirit of giving" end tonight or last until the New Year?  We will keep the spirit alive all year either way!

Otobe--for a guy that is very giving, it shouldn't be hard for you to keep giving till the end of 2014.  I hope all us remember to keep giving back.  Let's be our best during these last few days of 2014, and have no DUIs in our membership.  That would be a terrible way to start the new year.

The ling spit the Holiday lure as it wrapped in my net... I tried to put it in it's mouth just for pictures sake but then you could not see the measure marks on the stick---forgive me for the non pro measure trough job it is my first time ever trying a on boat measure trough pic and I do not know the rules for laying the fish..It was a over 25" and is now a holiday dinner .....I'm sure bigger fish are ready to post or will be posted ..I know I have bigger ones coming over the next two days...HO HO HO Merry Christmas Nor Cals...

I hope my non lure in mouth and rookie trough pics do not disqualify this entry..it was more honest than rigging the picture after the ling spit the lure in my yak..I was in huge swells and was worried about tipping as this was going on..Pt Pinos was insane swell today...dont trust reports..it was HUGE out by the red can..

the shadow of my pole makes it look like the tail is not butted to the tray  90* stop but it is...it was 25 1/2" but was hard to lean the trough to show the numbers without the ling sliding off  into my lap and very big swell meant do it quick 

Just of this today at sws with tranchla  so sounds fun have a couple days left so here is my lure

Craig do you measure your fish that direction so they'll know how tall they are? 

dont know the rules Amos...for trough rules..if you mean by standing on it's stomach.it was sliding off and huge swell so I was trying to get it to balance in the trough and not slide off again
