Ho Ho Ho...here is a teaser....

I can't go into the whole story now...but what a Glorious day on the water with Great Friends, good laughs, and average fishing. We sang Christmas Carols, some hummed them, others (including me) made up a few carols ourselves  . Thanks Raydon for putting on the virtual Holiday Tournament...the fish really enjoyed the "lures"...Lings, Cabs, and Verms loved the offerings.

Had another beautiful day near Monterey bay good friends epic fishing probaly the last fishing day this year
Caught three fish on my Christmas fly. Won a  $5.00  bet with my girl friend  said it would not catch anything . Thank you to my new friends that included me on this adventure.

Finally I was able to get out today after my Xmas traveling. Pablitopescador flew in this morning and we decided to hit Carmel River State Beach. We got on the water around 2:30 and the ocean allowed us to launch there. I brought 1 rod with my holiday lure and I was determined to catch a fish. We only had a couple hours on the water before the sun set. I'm pretty sure I didn't catch a winner but here is my catch.

BTW I beat my lure up on the rocks. Looks like nail polish and puff paint can't handle the salt.

This is epic.  We have never had such a good amount  of fish waiting to be judged.  Fish entered by Bowman, Trianglelaguna, 57fishy and otobepelagic.   Remember, you have till the 10th to enter pictures.  Last day of fishing for the contest is Wednesday, 31st.  I will be busy with the judging elves going through the posts.    We still have a few days of sending positive thoughts and vibes to our brothers on the water.    Watch out while driving  this week for the pre-celebrators that can't wait for the 31st to mess  their lives up.  Let's not be one of those.

Major bunner on the lack of juice.  Don't let that put you in a bad way.  End 2014 is good spirits and make it last all of 2015.

Raydon...Does there have to be  A winner?  I think we have all won thanks to Your Spirit and the Spirit of Others throughout these Holidays and in the year as a whole. Thanks Again for letting us play along.

I concur that all who read, contributed and fished in the spirit of the season are winners.  But I have two prizes to gift away.    You still have till Jan. 10 to post. 
I hope 2015 is the best year ever for NCKA and its individual members.

Raydon, The "Virtual Holiday Tournament" was fun! All of us are looking forward to next year's event....Like a child waiting for Santa!
