Thank you all, Mike, Kara , Bill, James ,Derrick, Eric and all the just as important people's names that escape me at my senior moment.

Quote: I want to thank all our sponsors... Lowrance, EGO, BransonBaits.com, Kokatat, RAM, YakAttack, Scotty, Hobie, Pro-Cure, Red Bull, Wheeleez, KayakShed.com, American Legacy, MonsterFishingTackle.com, Andy1976 jigs, Pacific Outfitters, Hill Flat Limber, Alaskan Beer Co and Craig Davis, the Albion Open director. These sponsors believe in OUR event and our club. If you get a chance drop them a email, phone call, whatever and say thanks for being a sponsor for LRC, it will go a long way, trust me! Thanks.

+100, you all rock,,, I'll do what I can to PIF  :headbang:

That being said I had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year. I feel bad for those peeps that did not get on the water, the big blue plays by her own rules  :smt012. I'll leave you with a couple of parting shots, till then... tight lines and be safe...
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

I thought someone said it was a BBQ Apron.

It was going to be an apron but the supplier did not come through, so where is that tramp stamp pic ?  :smt003

Better late than never...... Thanks a bunch mike!!!!!!! I had a blast, great eats and always good to catch up with friends. Like others said looking forward to next year. I cant wait, and I like knowing you will make the right call, thinking of the majority... and save many of us who aren't  quite ready for extreme condtions the tough decision as to risk it or not. Stoked on my goddie bag, blew the Scotty whistle today and even my half deaf pops said damn that loud :)

Kevin, Glad you made it out! Hopefully next year it will nice and flat. It was amazing to see the power of the ocean that weekend, she is an unforgiving bi%#h for sure. Glad you liked the bags and let me know how those custom baits work out for you. Need to kick this flu, I'll let you know maybe we can meet up on the salt before the season ends. Take care!

Sorry for the late reply.
That was my first time staying at Anchor Bay. It's a beautiful place, and I look fwd to fishing it from my kayak. Mike absolutely made the right call on gameday. You did a great job. The potluck and raffle was really fun. And quite successful. Our community donated another $1600+ to PIF via raffle ticket sales at the potluck (bring the grand total to $6620 in Hobie raffle ticket sales = excellent job, everybody). Congrats to Rey for winning.
Thanks for carpooling with me, Bill. I enjoyed our ride up & back. It makes the time fly by much faster (especially compared to 5-hour car rides with my kids in the backseat!!). That trailer is badass. I've been telling everybody about it and it garnered a lot of attention at the campground!

I don't want to wait another year to eat some more sand fleas.  :smt010

Making Sand Flea Po-Boys next year.  Hopefully they will be less-domoic tasting next year.
