I dunno you guys, why bother painting them?  I loose lots of them and catch lots of fish with the plain, unpainted ones.  Sometimes I put a black eye on them with a sharpie.  The just seem too expendable to bother powder coating them.

Confidence is your rigging is priority. Making them purrrttyy while your at it aint gonna hurt none. Especially when you make them on a stormy/ raining weekend

the paint is maybe not so important ...but the glow in the dark..helps..i fish spots in 180-220 and the bite is slow... some days I'll change from calico hunter on a red head ,to pearl on a white or green glow head and the bite goes nuts..or the reverse too some days...the green glow seems to really work in like 65-110 f.o.w too.....glow works imo...takes me about 5 minutes to do ten jigs...those pics I took yestereday and put on this thread ,were from opening the shipping box, to ,putting  the stuff away...maybe five minutes fumbling with camera too....nothing fancy and enough jigs for a trip out

the eyes I linked come on wax paper and peel and stick on to smooth paint...there are ton of eyes in the order for cheap and really high quality .....

if I am putting them on a store jig that lost an eye or on a cooled down jig -I grip them with a set of pliers on each side and hold for a few seconds with strong pressure and they stay on/seal better...

IF the jig is too slippery or the eye does not want to stay on(touch dust on the table or my hand) then I use a tiny tip of crazy glue just tipped on the jig where the eye will go and then pressure on the eye...
The best way is too put them on while the jig still has some internal warmth from powder coating( hot potato type hot) and pliers or finger tip pressure for second...lay the jig on one of the eye side down to cool helps
