Well I had a nice time talking to Otto from Wheeleez, Inc.
this past weekend @ the RTM Fall Classic. Since Wheeleez was a sponsor at the event, Otto was kind enough to pass on this great deal for the Kayak Cart-Beach Wheeleez. There are 13 available for 2 weeks only @ $ 199.00 when used with the coupon code: GOFISH
Online orders only.
Order from www.wheeleez.com

That is a hell of a deal!  Tried it out (but didn't purchase) and it works as advertised!  The regular, best ever, Wheeleez Kayak Cart for 199!!!

Thanks, Tim. Already have one. Just didn't know if WheelEz was still selling the other problematic version.

I don't think those (solid foam tuff tires) are the ones Howard is talking about.  For a very short period, Wheeleez had an alternate balloon wheel design. That design had tread to it and was problematic for some people (not having a good seal on the rims and therefore leaking air).  I don't believe Wheeleez uses those anymore.  Didn't they have a recall and a number of people here were able to trade them in for the "better" ones?

Yes. That is what I was referring to. Just didn't know how to describe the tire. I still see the problematic ones sold here occasionally.

But not new ones, right?   FWIW, I have a set of the "bad" ones and they aren't so bad.  Just need to remember to check the air more often.

Thanks for the info.  I've just bought one.  Always wanted to get one.  I did not know they are located in Benecia, CA.  So close by.

I've borrow wheels from Vin60 a while back.  Now I can return it to Vin.

Same here...still using the wheeleez with the "problematic" treads. Haven't had any issues in ~4 years...

Thats because Spike didn't post on here, or doesn't post on here anymore.  It was on FB though!
