Lowrance Rockfish Classic 2014 - Anchor Bay 11/15 _ POTLUCK Thread

OK, this is the place to post up the culinary creations you will make/bring to the LRC at Anchor Bay.

Texas boy and I are gonna be organizing the potluck, and we are shooting for a NCKA worthy event!

The Pot Luck will begin at 2:30pm on Sat. after the tourney. I'm thinking this will be enough time for most everyone to complete their dishes. Personally, I kinda like when some stuff is still being cooked as we start, as the later food comes hot off the grill, as the first courses are gone.

Texas says we will have a 50gal. barrel cooker available for your marinated(or not) meats.

I am working on my Dutch oven skills and will be making a desert item.

What will you bring to the table at Anchor Bay?

Big plates for everyone that brings a dish and little tiny plates for those that don't  . Im thinking I will boil up a bunch of corn again.

I'm thinking I might do a beer batter fish fry at the potluck. Donations would help make this happen.

I'm bringing something sweet for dessert, and my old lady will probably make some dip and bring watermelon...but let me know what you need for the fish fry!

I'll also donate some fish if someone fillets them, and will help with prep and cooking if needed.

Damn I'm getting hungry

Missed the last ncka potluck, not this one...I'll bring my mango salsa for the fish tacos, some tortillas, and some of Christina s yummy desserts.

I will also have some crab pots soaking. So if I get any bugs they will be shared with the masses.

Ohh yeah I plan on diving for some abalone as well. So if anyone wants to make abalone poke I will donate a couple snails.
