Boat is ready to float. I am going to launch at howe and head up river. It will be easier launching and landing from the same location. Be on channel 69.

My son is going to join us, so we will leave his Trooper at Disco and take my truck and trailer to the howe launch.

I can take three people (without kayaks) back to howe to pick up their cars after the drift.

Hi folks, I hate to make the river more crowded, but Jonathan and I are eager to join in on the fun. We are driving up from Oakland/Berkeley, and will try to get it there at 7 ish to work out the car situation for shuttling. Are we figuring out the car shuttle arrangement beforehand, or once we get to the river in the morning? Thanks. Gabe

Hi Gabe, Glad you can join us.

I guess that's up to you. I preffer to have my arrangements made beforehand so I know who is riding with me.

Sunny, sometime around 7:30ish, or whenever the shuttle cars get done.

This should be called the 1ST ANNUAL NCKA AMERICAN RIVER SALMON REGATTA

Good one Ryan.

I just hope we catch a fish!

There may be some places, but I don't know if I'd recommend doing it where the launch point is.  There are some real nice residential neighborhoods off of Howe Avenue and American River Pkwy that you could park on without having to worry about foot traffic.

Hi Alfredo, thanks for the note. Maybe Jonathan or I could get a ride back to HOWE with you at the end of the trip(one of us will stay with the gear). Or better yet, maybe we could drop off our gear at HOWE and then I could leave my car at Disco and get ride back to Howe with you for the launch. That way we could fish for a longer or shorter time and not worry about the timing at the end.

Gabe,

My son and I will be in a small pickup for the morning run to Howe after dropping off the car at Disco.
I have offered the one empty seat to another person, if he doesn't reply you are welcome to it.

Otherwise you are welcome to one of the three seats back to howe after the drift.
The other two seats are still available. James..need a lift back to howe?

Hey Al,

If you still have space, I would greatly appreciate a ride back to the launch site after our drift.

Lets hope we all hook up.
