That is a great experience. Now your odds have gone down on seeing another one, which might be a good thing. At least you weren't IN the water! Good story. You forgot to include when it jumped out and saw the white on its belly covered in blood. 

That's when we nrw it was a great white when we saw all the blood against the white belly
