The guys from 831 Tackle (find them on FB) met me in Salinas on Saturday to buy some jig heads and rubber bait.

Can't recommend them enough. They were friendly and showed us all the ins and outs of jig fishing. And they hooked us up, great prices. My brother caught his first fish yesterday on it.

They will be my go to guys from now on. I think they are NCKA but I don't know their usernames here.

Anyway just wanted to give props where its due. The bait quality was high, better than any I found in local stores.
Thresher in avatar and Soupfin Shark in signature both caught and pic taken by me.
3rd place Kayak Connection Derby, 2014
45th place / 423 pts / 3 Species - AOTY 2014 (nowhere to go but up!)
30th place / 1132.25 pts / 7 Species - AOTY 2015 (moving up a little!)

Always looking for new people to fish with!

One of the brothers (Tim) is MeatHunter on here...think the other one is LingSlayer or something?

Very nice guys and quality product for sure!

Heck Yes! :smt007 Love their baits!  They will custom make color and sizes for you too; with a decent size order of course.  They are on Instagram too if anyone does that.

They make some great swimbaits for sure and their prices are ridiculously cheap. Hit them up!

Funny timing-
we just bought our first order Saturday afternoon
Adam met my Amy after her work at an easy, for both of them,
Salinas location and HOOKED US UP!!!
I am for sure ordering more and going to place a bigger order as soon as all my buddies get how many of each type they want to me, also gonna shoot for my own special order in white or glo - if they can do that...

I had Adams 10" big maroon/red swimbait with an extra trailer hook in the tail  on Sunday morning and right away was producing lings...cant wait to open the other bags and try more!!!!

great swimbaits

this is a picture( the baits are 10 x better than the pic shows - super colorful - soft and with ridges to hold pro cure etc ) of some of the styles for folks on ncka that had not seen the stuff....i fished the huge one and was doing great right away

Awesome man! Glad you guys hooked up on some fish with the lures. Great meeting you and your brother too. Always fun to talk fishing with people that enjoy it as much as we do.

We fished sws yesterday but it was really slow. Managed ling limits though with two 30" and two 25" and a small verm. Pics and video are on facebook and I have no clue how to get them here lol. Big lings ate the 7.5" ringed swimbait in red and the smaller ones ate the 6in ringed in red.

Yeah Craig that can be done for sure! My brother Adam (swimbait maker) just moved houses so he is in the process of setting up his plastic pouring gear but he should be on-line midweek.

I love 831 Tackle! my favorite are the big swim grubs and ringed zipper worms. But everything is high quality.
Craig! I have told you this twice before but Tim & Adam are the guys who we fished with...when someone got sprayed with buckshot!  :smt006
