New to NCKA

Hello, just joined. My wife and I are going to be buying a couple of kayaks. I plan on setting mine up for fishing. I hope to learn some things on here about what types of kayaks male good fishing platforms, common gotchas, etc since I am a total newbie. 

there is a NCKA get together in Monterey Sunday the 17th where many members will have their kayaks and set ups there for folks to compare side by side...great chance to see fishing kayaks as they end up once folks put the ideas and gear on em....and it is near a shop that also has some examples
