just leave it there or move it...no need to kill stuff..unless I'm gonna eat it....they dont mess with humans who dont mess with them imo

I had two female on my fence line last week with egg sacs and both are DEAD!!! I hate spiders!!! I have Bayer insect killer and it works wonders. One small spray and it makes them SUFFER a slow death. HA HA HA !!! It is that or out comes the magnifying glass and since I am in Texas I use the HOT sun and focus it on them and POOF no more spider....Did I say I hate spiders

If BW's were after people, I'd be looooong dead by now! I relocate rather than squish spiders that would probably freak you out a LOT more than a black widow.  They don't all get the valet treatment, but when I don't feel threatened I do not kill.  We live in the mountains, and spiders are just part of the territory.  Heck, I named a daddy long legs 'Cereal Spider' for guarding over our stash of cereal on the fridge.

If BW's were after people, I'd be looooong dead by now! I felt the same way until I was bitten by one in my sleep. I was just laying in my bed mindin my own business...

Now they die on sight.

I've been bitten myself by a black widow.  Not fun.  I was reaching for a ball in a juniper bush.  Never saw or felt the bite, juniper bushes are kinda scratchy anyways.  Until later! 

I have to set off bug bombs several times a year under my Jeep that is parked along side the house, the Black Widows love to hide in that vehicle.  After the bug bomb I usually find a lot more dead BW's on the ground in the immediate area. 

Have you tried talking it out?

Now that is funny Al, sad but funny. My son took a photo of a black widow right between his fingers right before he torched her. He is a plumber and was under a home doing repairs and he almost put his hand on her. She died a horrible death by torch!

I have them come in my home when they are small and take up residence right in the corner of my bottom stair. I usually get three to four of them a year make that mistake. They grow big enough to where I can see them with my old eyes then death!

I have gotten two scorpions too in my home; one in the garage and one in the master bedroom. I don't like them either, but I am so intrigued by the way they look. We used to catch the big black ones in Kuwait and Camel Spiders and do battles to the death

Killed one in my backyard today.

Thanks Tote. Found a benzomatic in the garage! I brought the water house along with me just in case the bush caught fire. And it did [emoji16] hopefully the problem is solved
