Black Widow Spider

Adam the spray is a nerve agent and you'll know when you inhale it. makes you sick immediately. You vomit and stay nauseated and your head pounds for a few hours. Never inhaled it because I wore a respirator when I used it, except at home in the garage but I used the same precautions.

One the can it says "keep away from small animals." Yes it can kill a small dog.

Really fun to just put a micro-burst on a large spider and watch the effects. It slowly hits the poor victim and it falls to the ground and tries to crawl away then it rolls over and its legs go uncontrollable, then it tries to crawl away...Repeat till death. Did I mention I HATE spiders. I ran into a banana spider in Okinawa as big as my face. Missed it by about six inches. Didn't have my "spray" with me either or that one would have died too.

We have lots of bluebelly and alligator lizards that seem to keep the spider and insect populations in check.

Ditto. Was in okinawa back in the day and was on a hump through some tall saw blade grass and , boom, in your face. creeped me out. hate spiders as well.

Marine buddy of mine told me his story of a banana spider on patrol and it didn't work out to well for the spider. Seems he went through the web and the spider landed on his helmet and he saw its leg out the corner of his eye. He throws down his helmet shoulders his weapon takes the safety off and goes full auto on it right next to his helmet. Helmet survives, banana spider didn't.  He hates spiders too

Nope its only a small one!!!!

The lizzards at my place are systematically taken out with precision BB's, every other weekend. I will let you guess who does it......

90% of the time I relocate spiders if I can, even BW.  Problem is BW are pretty hard to catch out far enough from their hidey holes.  Only reason I do it is because I have children.  If not I'd probably leave them alone if they're in a safe enough spot or relocate them somewhere where they have lots of food outdoors. 

I have no personal fear of spiders and feel they really help to keep our other insects in check.  I have this one fuzzy looking spider who has a little spot near a window in our dining room and he always has a new fly every week. He's nowhere near where he would cause me trouble so I just leave him there.

Plus killing something for no good reason is kind of a d*ck move.
