It's going to be real simple this year. Like mooch would have it. Plaques for prizes and a small raffle for Paul Lebowitz. Where his son went to high school there is a program where students help other students with learning disabilities. The raffle will provide some money to that program in honor of his son James.

I like the fact that since there is not going to be a big cash prize or a kayak for 1st place prize, the people attending will be the ones enjoying each others company.
I am glad to hear from Craig that the sale of the complex has not happen yet due to tear down of the Bridge is not final.

Just got an e-mail from Albion about a rate increase at the campground:

Our rates have increased for the 2015 season. We have not raised rates for four years, but with increasing utility costs over the past four years, the owners have instructed us to increase rates.  This season our rates will be as follows - this will also effect reservations made last year at the old rates:

Full hook up -$48/night
Water and electric - $38/day
Trailers - $135/night

All other fees and discounts unchanged.

I'm sorry, this is kind of a BS move to increase rates after we've already booked, especially with no apology, nothin'.  Just take it or leave it.  Its not a lot of money to each individual person in the long run, but not exactly fair.  I'm sure the owners are currently losing a [sarcasm] ton of money [/sarcasm] considering they already know the place is being sold.

The sale of the park has not gone though yet. it may not happen at all.
increase the fee by a few bucks is not that bad if we get to keep on coming back.

Yes, eventually it will happen.

Is that just for the duration of the rebuild or will it be permanently?

Everythng is full-- even Schooners.   If you have a cancellation, let me know.  I have a 17 foot trailer and would like a full hookup But Can do a dry camp.    Or if you have a tent, and wouldn't mind sharing your space, the office said I could do that.  I'll be willing to pay for your space and mine.

Thanks,  Raydon
