Well...
Wasn't able to help Raydon, but I do have a little good news;
I talked to the folks at the Albion Campground and they said they will definitely be open next year.  I was told they own the place and there has only been the most casual of contacts with them from the state.  Even IF there is movement to go forward with the plans, the bridge work wouldn't be scheduled before 2017 and that it's highly unlikely that even 2017 will start with any actual construction or demolition.

Im 75% sure I can make this event...   Since the site is full. What are the other option on where to camp.   Any other sites nearby?

I plan on just staying Friday night, possibly Saturday, sleeping in my truck.

There's an over flow area Frenchie, so don't sweat it.  Show up and there will be a spot to camp.
