A good easy recipe for you boys who brought home sheeps from the islander.. Whip egg crush ritz crackers and coat. I like to twice coat the fillets, pan fry in butter and onions and you win.  :smt007

I have some questions regarding Sashimi.

On the Islander we ate Ocean Whitefish Sashimi style.  They were immediately bled, cut and eaten.  The fish we caught and took home from San Clemente were thrown in the ice box for days before being cleaned or even bled out. So would you recommend eating these fish sashimi style, or stick to super fresh and properly bled fish?

I probably wouldn't eat fish raw that had been sitting around on ice for a few days...but that's just me.  :smt001

But...saying that...maybe I would?  :smt005

Wanted to show off my tasty sheep too  :smt003.. Made sashimi and ceviche Sheepshead on Thursday of last week and came out great. Also end up making Calico sea bass tacos for some of my local friends. All turned out great and gave me flashbacks of the great time we all had on the Islander.
