Sorry for the blurry pic ... tonight's Sheepshead Ceviche made with meyer lemons, tomatoes, and purple cerrano all from the garden.  My first tomatoes and peppers of the year at that!

Sheepshead sure freezes well ... gonna have to sashimi some up tomorrow.   :smt004

Looks really taste, but I have seen a lot of worms in rock fish from Monterey bay are sheep heads Amun to worms or does the lime juice kill um. Wanted to try it but a little un shure.

depends how big the worm,a lot of times if it's the bigger size the lime juice just aggravates it out and on to your plate.i know this from personal expierence
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Nope, lime juice doesn't do much to kill parasites. Even freezing the fish in your home freezer won't kill parasites.  Only flash freezing kills the critters per the FDA.

On the plus side, the body does a pretty good job of killing parasites that make it to the gut within a day or two. And, eating sushi with booze and wasabi helps kill 'em too.  If you're a healthy adult, the risk is low for getting sick.

Not true.  -4F for 7 days.  Although note that not all home freezers get that low, especially the ones integrated into your fridge.  Your chest freezer may.  Mine does.  :smt004
