Yes, we are having a heat wave. Even the nights and early mornings are above 70 and the mid afternoon are above 100. The winds are hot too. Cannot really fish comfortably the local waters. Evening time is more comfy but the mosquitoes are swarming all over you and some of them ignore the deet! I'll stick to my gardening for now, at least the tomatoes and eggplants are loving this! Will grill that salmon later today.

Hey Al, for a little instant relief get one of these, they crank the cold air out.

Thanks for the tip Tony. Not needed today. The tech arrived 2 hours early, tested and replaced the capacitor. The new part was covered under warranty. The AC is now up and running!

It's now 106 outside and getting cooler by the minute inside.

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Don't have AC.
The hot tub is the cool tub during the warm months.
I did install a new mist system at the bar this weekend.
So far the heat has been a non issue.
Time to BBQ right now.
Beer butt chicken...yum.

Speaking as a repair tech, get your systems looked at in April/May on a warm day!!! I worked 14 hours today getting people's AC up and running, and anything after my 8 hours is OT rate.. people were overpaying for minor repairs that would have cost them $200-400 less if they called before the heat picked up!

Hope the heat dies down later today. Already watered my lawn in the middle of drought. I felt bad.
