I'm sitting here on the beach eating my sandwich...and watching a purse seiner making a set (presumably wrapping up squid) about a half-mile NE of the mile buoy :-0

Laguna Seca is also an alternative to camping. I will try and get A couple of sites at Veterans as well. See you soon!

I got some dough to reimburse whoever gets a site or two.   

It's looking like I can't make it down until Saturday afternoon. I'll pay for Friday and Saturday night, though, if someone snatches a site I can crash at.

It is with a heavy heart that I must say I will not be providing a "wooden item" this year for the PIF drawing ....

    INSTEAD

   I WILL be donating one of my personal collection metal sculptures (made by me) in it's place.  Didn't have time to wrap up the wooden one I was planning for this year so I will PIF a much larger metal, wall hung, art piece.  Picture to follow this evening!  I take great comfort in knowing the two last wooden art pieces have found wonderful homes in the NCKA family & no doubt this one will too!!!!!!

I'm in the same boat! If Carrie and I can tag along Sat night anywhere! We will help with or cover all of camp fee... Might not be able make PIF W/O camp spot. Cabriolet and tent only)

Officially the permit I bought for the picnic area says that "Dogs, animals etc are prohibited"...but I have no clue if anyone enforces that or not Chad...pretty sure I have seen dogs there before at perevious PIFs...maybe ask ChuckE cuz I KNOW his dog was out on his AI with him the first time we did PIF there...
