Just got picked up by Tepiu Tents in Santa Cruz this week! Now will have an alternative to camping on solo trips when the RV is an over kill; and sleeping in a tent on the cold/wet ground just won't cut it.

I first became aware of this product a few years ago camping on off-road trips with a bunch of 4wheelers; and thought it would be a cool addition to my inventory.

For the most part, I plan to keep it on the trailer when going on trips where I need to use the trailer (ie kayaking , dirt biking. Etc); but will mount it on the jeep when doing back country off-road excursions.

I plan on bringing it to Shelter Cove next weekend for its shakedown trip; feel fee to stop by and check it out!.

Cool!
How does it like 30k winds?

Its rated to hold up in 30mph winds; but if it does plan to blow that hard, I would most likely not go or I would bring the RV :smt003.

Sweet I had talked to them a few months ago. I guess I should have followed through. I want to figure out if I can put one on my truck and still use a J rack.

Why would that happen? The guy in the next tent will just think it is raining!

Rey, would work great on your Avalanche! will fit any car/truck with cross bars up to 50" apart. For most folks, the "Ayer" 2-man tent would work fine.

Talk to Bernard, tell them Glen sent you and he will hook up!

Let me know if you're really interested; I'll see what kinds of deal I can get. Maybe a "Group Buy" might lower the cost even more!

Ever heard of a "Pee Bottle"?  :smt044 I don't like to go out in the cold if I don't have too! :smt003

Should be safe from short bears and ones that can't climb ladders.  :smt005
