GS8 sickness!!!!

I think I need therapy,  I am already  having trouble sleeping and while awake day dream about GS8. Today on my trip down to Santa Rosa, the sickness got worse.  I watched, listened to, you-tube videos from Rock Hopper, and LoletaEric, well until I got to I80. Hurry GS8 I need help. 

I have it too, except there is so much I need to do before I get there.

I've been sick since the last GS!

yep. I've got it bad.

last night I got out my chart and my log from GS 7 (after looking over the old GS threads during the day) and started compiling everything into a dossier.
Started making a food list, and another general gear list.
Had to open a beer just to use my fake ivory alaska coaster with a salmon on it for mojo.

Beer finished, I had to go out & look over my fishing rods for the 100th time and try to decide which ones to bring.
Gotta have a salmon trolling setup, check.
Need bottom fishing gear....which of the 3 get the nod? I have a 20lb, a 30lb, and a 40lb......
......why is the kitchen timer going off? Ah, cornbread is done....wait a sec...

then I realized I had been out in the shed for 30 minutes doing nothing but looking at fishing gear.
It was fun though

I mean really though, how is that different than a normal Tuesday night?

So when is this GS thing?

Are you having trouble sleeping?
Do you get nuts when you are in tackle store not knowing what you want?
Do you pick up stuff from the wall and end up leaving without buying anything?
Do you constantly check the GS8 Thread?
Do you search youtube for some previous GS videos?
Do you read previous GS results?

If so, then you may have the GS-Somia Syndrome...Its an epidemic amongst those who are nuts about fishing and camaraderie, there are 218 unconfirmed cases.

I haven't actually brought any of my gear into my office yet.

There are some cool videos of people landing their planes in Shelter Cove. It's a unique view that I hope to see first-hand some day.
