FYI I launched from MBK this morning and swells were pretty big when I got there and got pretty gnarly as the wind continued to pick up into the afternoon. Still had a blast though, even though the fishing was a bit slow. But hopefully the weather will behave for you guys, and you all have a great time.

Thanks for that intel cave dweller. I'll be going lite try to minimize my sail.

I'm loaded...went out on Randy's charter today and it got pretty knarly as the day went on and really knarly going back to Monterey from Moss on the Sur Randy...folks puking....one guy threw up on some other guys...projectile vomit started and ended the day...I shook the skunk off with a 15 lb beauty in the boat early in the day at 40 feet,,,followed by another one by the guy next to me at 50...then one 10lber by my buddy and that was it for the whole day...my same buddy had a huge one right at the boat..and blew it/lost it...15lber easy


anyways me and few guys are at mbk 630ish tomorrow ....lots of bait around wharf and out further too...


I'll try and check this thread before leaving tomorrow a.m...I bought a tons of fresh frozen  bait if anyone is coming empty handed, I can put some extra bait packs on my yak and get it to you otw...squid and anchovies my treat  ...let me know

Yes, it wasn't the best conditions or fishing today but had a good time with my dog. Nice to meet you and your friend.

Used  my points last thursday. Saving up again for this week. Pic of my nephew who looks like he is thinking W.T.Heck . lol
