She will remember this time you shared together, forever.  Wish her a quick recovery and maybe you could bring her to Albion.

Thanks Bret!!!

I too will remember this weekend for a long time!!! All thou I did not make it to GS8, I took 1st place this past weekend also; in my daughter's heart!!!! She made excellant progress and is now trending upwards!

She was very active, talkative and in great spirits!!! Doctors told me that she although she is not out of the woods yet, she is doing alot better than the previous days!

I couldn't had asked for a better out come for this weekend!!! I am so over-whelmed with joy to see her smiling and laughing again!!!

Thank you Lord, family and friends for all the prayers, love and support!!!!

with extreme gratitude,
Glen

Great to hear buddy,
We did our best to represent team Mailyna and with 2 angler scores divided by 3 team members, we managed to stay in the top 10 ;0)
Give Mailyna our best and keep being there for her.
See Ya Soon,

I am crying while ready about your grandchild, Mailyna.  You are  the model for what grandparents can and should do for their grandchildren.  Stay strong for her Glen, and I am praying for her and your family.

You were definitely missed bro, but you did make the right call.
Great news to hear she's doing better.
Looking forward to seeing you soon. I know it means your grand daughter will be doing even better then too.

Glen,

Box of goodies for her went out today; should be there tomorrow!  Hope she's doing well!!!  The adress you posted earlier didn't work.  Called & got the updated (correct) address.

I can see you play with one of the items I sent her more than her   :smt005  You'll know it when you see it!!!!   :smt003

Memorial Day Update:

The past few days have been nothing short of a small miracle!!! What seem to be another hurdle last Thursday, with concerns regarding damage to her liver because of all the medication she was on, ARE GONE!!!! In fact they have drastically scaled back on the number of IV medcation she has been on 8 type in all, done to only 3; and if she continues progressing at this rate, she will be coming home WAY SOONER than expected!!! Possibly as early as next Friday!!! We (my family) are SO EXCITED and happy that things have gone fairly smoothly!!!

And while we are very happy that she will be coming home, she is not out of danger yet; she still needs to rebuild her immune system to a point where she can withstand the most attacks on her system... but the hard part is almost OVER!!!!

Thank you all again for you love, prayers and support!

Here she is doing her famous impression of a hook'd fish:

Thanks for posting the update and the pictures.  You have lifted my spirits by sharing such wonderful news.  She's a very lucky girl to have such a caring Grandpa.  I look forward to seeing you on the "fishing circuit" again soon.  There may be a mini Loose Screws hookup at HMB in the next couple of weeks.  It would be great if you could make it out, even if just for an after crabbing beer.  I'll let you know when plans are finalized.

Martin
