Team Mailyna: Meeting her Donor!

This morning, my beloved grand-daughter will be going in for her Bone Marrow transplant as part of her fight against a life-long illness called Beta-Thalassemia; which is an inherited blood disorder characterized by less hemoglobin and fewer red blood cells in your body than normal.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, to give her the strength to undergo the transplant and recovery, which will take over 9 months; including 6 months of isolation.

In addition, to keep her busy and occupied during her isolation, I she was planning to make braclets out of mini-rubberbands (it suppose to be the "in thing" right now); so if anyone wants to have one made for $5 (including shipping), you can pay-pal me at "[email protected]". This is by no means a money-maker for her, but to keep her occupied and to let her know that friends care and are thinking about her. Please include your name, address and preferred 2-colors (along with any well wishes) in the comments of the paypal and I will be sure she gets them.
