Its a nice feeling that I still am able to comfort her, miss taking care of her; I use to watch her everyday when she was growing up while everyone else was at work or school.

But the bad part about that is, if me being there is what it takes to comfort her enough so she can Smile, Laugh and Rest, then I will have to pass on going to Shelter Cove. Her well being is the most important thing in my life...

And I will leave it up to her, if she ask me to stay, I will stay; if she says its okay, then I will paddle my heart out for Team Mailyna!

BTW, forgot to mention:

c.) Rockfish: Showed her the text you sent me yesterday, brought a cute smile on her face.

Yakhopper - thank you brother!!!! just showed her (via Facetime) the shirts that you dropped off, she was so joyful!!! she especially like the cute one you made for her younger sister Jazzy!!!  (But I am getting my a$$ kick by my other kids and there significant others for not making them one; we have to get on making more after GS8)

Thank you all so much for your support for me, my family and most for my precious grand-daughter, it trully means so much to us!

(btw - hot items: Hershey's Macadamian Kisses, Lego's of famous structures around the world (she had the effle tower and space need and is so proud of them), receiving cards & 'lock notes' (like in the picture above) to hand on her walls and windows.... and Rainbow Looms Bands, of course!!!)

I was in the Lego aisle looking but didn't have a clue!  Suggestions like that are ALWAYS welcomed!

As long as the package is sealed in its original packaging, it should be go; they will disinfect it before she handles it....

BTW: Did your ever buy that camper shell for your Dakota? I am might be getting rid of mine and won't need the shell if I donate it....

According to them doctors, today is supposed to be the peak of the down swing, and the hardest day for her, so I decide it's best for me to be at her side for the next couple of days; which means I passed on going to GS8.

But if this is what it takes to make sure that she is as comfortable, relaxed and happy, I made the right decision and do not regret my decision one bit!

Today, we played "Internet games" and made fun of the funny pictures her aunts, uncles, and other relatives did. And somewhere between all of that and rubbing her back, she dozed of for a quick nap....

I guess she also rembered where I was suppose to go (but we didn't say anything to each other) cause she started to draw this picture....

Totally support this decision Glen, way to go!   I made a similar ( but not nearly as drastic) decision to withdraw from the hike n dive to spend time with my dad instead.   We'll miss you up there bro!  Give our families best to your little angel, we are praying for her swift recovery.
