GS8.1 - for late people

For anyone who didn't get their Gimme Shelter entry in over the past 3 months, you now have a chance to win something at GS!!   We want you there, but you can't get a chance at GS prizes when you're late, so live with this or wait til next year - or just show up and have fun without competing.

Send in your $25 late, and I'll still get you an XL shirt (guaranteed for first 10 only) but no other schwag unless you're lucky.  I'll accept these up to May 1st, but after that I won't even answer your PM!

The prize:  Six hours OTW guided trip by Abking out of Shelter Cove, Trinidad or Humboldt Bay for salmon this year.  Rockfish and lingcod fallback, halibut potential, high mileage guaranteed.  Subject to availability and ocean readiness.

You just have to have the highest late registrant score AND beat my score.

This seems like a great chance and the numbers don't lie. Probability says I should have waited 1-10 is a lot better than 1-219.

You wouldn't want to catch shit from me all day about being late and missing the main event, Jeremy!  Besides - you don't need a guided trip in Humboldt.   

It's a good deal for whoever wants to pursue it, and it gives an option to people that I'm sorry to have to turn away.

You're too nice Eric!  You shouldn't feel bad about turning people away.  If they can't get their $hit together in 3 months, then they don't deserve to participate.

I agree with Dilbeck,  3 months is a lot of notice.   I think the idea is still epic though!    It always seems like you find a way to mix up your tourney and keep it fresh.  Sorry for derailing your awesome post a bit earlier too.
