Called in sick for this one Hope nobody notices the sunburn

Slow fishing all around - not like reports from last few days Out of all the boats I talked to 3 boats had 1 each and one of the local small commie boats had 3 when I left

Heavy fog in the a.m. sunnied up late morning or noon Figured I'd see a few kayaks out there when the fog cleared Anybody else go?

Nice work!!! That's a hog.  May have to get over that way on Saturday morning if the bite holds.

What that?  It's a side effect from the antibiotics.  ;)

Dang...  Nice catch!!   Were you trolling a WMA?  Or bait?  Trooching?

Hope the winds stop blowing enough this weekend to give it a try.  It's just been so slow lately with salmon that maybe a fish per rod for a day seems like WFO....

Hope to make it out there soon, or if it's too windy for a long paddle, I will take the easy 1 mile trip out of Bean again....

Looks like 15-25 mph and 5-7 swells so far this weekend.  Hope it turns out better than that.

I trolled bait all morning and only one driveby with and without flashy dodger and all depths Switched to the apex and got this fish after an hour or so

Got a hunch the fish are moving toward the river, maybe this is the first crew passing through

Be nice to try along the inshore from Muir to rocky pt

Saw a couple of trucks on the lagoon road with kayak racks but didn't see any kayaks on the water, maybe they left before the fog lifted Any one else go out?

wow, that is a nice fish. as for the sunburn, tell your co workers that you came on with a case of rosacea for a few days that ends with a nice tan.

eat well!

Maybe I'll snitch some makeup from the wife and whiten myself up a bit Problem is I have a hat line across the forehead

It's gonna be hard to keep a straight face if anybody asks, I'll be busted for sure

Probably have to bribe the boss with a little smoked salmon

Hey Mooch what the heck are you doing on dry land? The big fat salmon are waiting for you up there on the Marin coast They're a bit spread out but I think they're coming inshore and very very fat

If I wasn't wearing the chokechain of marrital bliss I wouldn't be sitting at home writing this right now I'd be sitting off the coast with a nice light moochrod in hand

Think about all those big fat fish out there waiting for you under the bait boils

Oh well got to get this one in the brine and get some work done on the baby room so the heffe won't blow a fuse if I go out tomorrow
