Here is the snell knot I use. I just tie two back to back. A little more secure than the other video I posted.

Adam , What is your knowledge of the Sep's Sidekick dodgers ? I have a half dozen or so and seldom use them for any length of time , always going back to my " go to " a standard shaped dodger . Seems like they require even less of a troll speed to get the proper action ? Thank's , Dan

I use them from time to time, especially what I troll super slow.  The only place I use them exclusively is Hell Hole, where I typically troll slower than other reservoirs.

Call or e-mail Sep Hendrickson during his radio show, and ask what their intended application is.  I'd be curious to know.

Newbie question... do you run a drop shot with this rig or do you run a slider before the flasher? Thx

I run the setup on a downrigger.  However, this early in the season when the kokanee are closer to the surface you could get away with using a jet diver or deep six a foot or two above the dodger.  I have also used leadcore line with success in the past.

I recommend using a downrigger, but those are two other options.

In my Experience, I have found the seps side kicks to work really good in the early season on High elevation lakes with clear water. Trout love them with a grub or piece of nightcrawler  behind it. But never use them for kokes. They lack the appropriate wobble you need to piss them off..

Thanks Adam and Ricci , guess I'll be using my standard 4/0 dodger and save the side kicks for another lake , another time .

I'd give em a shot if you got em.  It might be the winning ticket tourney day.

Those look great Adam!!!  I love to tie up my own hoochies and even started playing around with spinners too.

There is another, slightly more difficult way to tie that knot. That is not the way I do it, I just knew it was easy for people not used to tying two hooks like that.
That is the same super easy way I do all my double snelled hook rigs from RF, Halibut, WSB to Trout Salon and Kokanee.  I've never had it fail on me, as loose as it may seem, it only tightens on itself.  I leave a tag end to the end of the shank and it's never come close to unraveling.  For me, it's the easiest way to get two hooks snelled right up next to each other with any fuss. The best part is, my hands dont hurt and my fingers dont go numb from tying a bunch of rigs in a row.  I've had some carpal tunnel symptoms developing after 25 years of using computers.

Thanks for the post Adam, now off to the tackle shop.....
