I thought Spike was associated w/the Black Pearl in some way?
Quick google search = http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/showthread.php?t=12642
And http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/showthread.php?t=14786

More info about a BS mothership would be great.

Think we'll get memorial T-shirts for this trip?  Want to plan appropriately

LMFAO!!

Now THAT was funny.  :smt003

Guys, I honestly just know what I posted, and even the blackpearl as the boat is just what I remember...

My advice is just standby until Tom gets registered here and posts up more details and/or sends them to me to post in the meantime.

If you can't wait that long you can call him or email him at the info I posted at the beginning.

 :smt001

 :smt006

Sincerely,

Jim

ps...if you're wondering who Tom is you can google him...I'm sure SinCoast already has.  :smt002 :smt008

Edit: my desktop was cycling and not posting as BigJim posted his reply...
I can wait until later to find out details ,and would love to go, this sounds very cool,it almost sounds like there will more interested in this trip than there will be spots to reserve

"More info about a BS mothership would be great." x2-----it would be nice to know more and how many have rsvp before I let the warden know about my plan

Spike chartered a couple trips in the early days of the Black Pearl doing kayak fishing mothership trips.  The trip I took was a Spike trip.

Just received a reply from Tom.

Hi Rey, the mother ship is 55 feet in length and we will be taking 12 kayakers only. Food is extra and you can also bring your own but for all meals is only $25.

It is going to be awesome!!
Board Friday night and then fish at first light. 2 day limits. Plus other stuff like salmon or White Sea bass if they are around .

Well info is on both sites CCKF and NCKA.  If you want to go I'd send money early. For me it is too close to the Albion event. My diesel bill would almost pat for half. But I never have fished with NCKA so I plan on the Albion event even though I had to book spot at the other camp ground.

Why not someone just organize another trip?

Maybe the guys down here, It is a wait and see how this works out. Personally I'd like to see a bigger boat. But Who knows how much they would charge. This price seems reasonable. And I think it will sell out. If it sells out fast I can see another one soon. A one day trip might be more affordable to many. What would people think about a one day trip. I know for those of you above the North Monterey County Line. It would be a long drive for one day.
