First Aid…

 Well, not meaning to brag as it's more of a curse at this point, but I am a 30 year seasoned Paramedic,   

 I will have everything from bandaids to trauma dressings to OPA's for effective CPR airways…  this will all be stationed at the Shirt Sales Booth

If we do have a serious injury, please let me know as I need to do a injury report and of course take care of said injury.

I think our main concern here is if someone stays out on the water too long, not hydrated and blasted by the sun…

( and I see this a lot with these young guys, they just let the sun blast them, won't take a hat, sunscreen, nothing, they just like the sun scorching them, must be something from being over there in the desert )

  Heat Stroke… Warm, Dry, Batshit crazy    and lethargic  …  Not Good….   

another concern I have always had, especially with TBI's ( Traumatic Brain Injuries ) is on the water Seizures…


If this happens, all you can really do is keep them safe and of course head above water… the good news is their locked up anyway so will not be sucking water till they come out of seizure.

Just do what ya can to keep their head above water.  For the most part, if they are seizure prone, they will come out of it and be manageable till help arrives…


If they keep seizing, well that's just something we'll have to deal with and is an extreme emergency that only advanced care can help.


 I will be contacting the Lodi Fire Department for a invite of Breakfast and Lunch...

I'm glad you are stationing the first aid at the t shirt booth.  My wife the  veterinarian can probably help out, or at least spay or neuter you.

  I had a telephone conference with National HOW in Texas yesterday and they are BLOWN away by our fund raising efforts and of course the event this weekend…
