Our Steelhead Are BACK!

SWEETNESS!! Steelhead lovin on Valentines Day.

Great pic! They seem to be digging that little cut out there. cuddling. I'm gonna be cuddling with my wife of 23 yrs tonight. . See if I can get some of that "steelhead"  your talking bout !! Hope she ain't reading this.

that's awesome to see!  I know everyone appreciates these fish but I think it takes a SLV resident (or former one like me) to really understand how rare and special it is to see these fish in that river.  I have yet to see any with my own eyes but my bro-in-law saw one at Junction Park last year.

So awesome Al.  Hope the fish make a complete comeback.

This will be my 8th year releasing steelhead into the San Lorenzo River with my students.  And I know MANY other classes as well as MBSTP release fish into the river, but I can't help but wonder if those fish were released by my students.
