Hey guys,

I'm selling a brand new Revo Toro 50HS. This is a phenomenal reel, but I have way too much fishing gear and tackle than I have the time to use them all. I'm selling this for $180 at my loss. Even eBay doesn't sell it for this cheap. You'd likely find it for $220-230 on eBay. The retail price is $280. Again, this reel is brand new and it has never been used - not once. Pick up in Union City or you can meet me in the Financial District of San Francisco during my lunch break. I can take my lunch whenever I want, so I'm flexible. I'll also be in San Jose this Saturday, and I can meet you around 11am.

Specs:

Available in two sizes, the Model 50 has a line capacity of 200 yards of 14-pound monofilament fishing line. The larger Model 60 will hold 250 yards of 14-pound line. The low profile frame and side plate of the Toro is made of X-Craftic aluminum alloy. This material is more durable and lighter than regular aluminum and is highly corrosion resistant. The seven High Performance Corrosion Resistant (HPCR) bearings and Duragear brass gears add to the reel’s durability and long life. With 24-pounds of maximum drag, our famous Carbon Matrix Drag System is double the strength of similar competitor models. This is particularly important with the hook set on a lake trout, turning a tough snook or bull red, or from keeping a monster muskie from entering a brush pile. Both the 10.3-ounce Model 50 and 10.8-ounce Model 60 Toro reels offer a high-speed 6.4:1 gear ratio version (50-HS and 60-HS) and a cranking speed 5.4:1 reel. The Swedish engineered Revo Toro also features an Infini II Spool design for the smoothest of operations, six-pin centrifugal break, synchronized level wind, line alarm and is packaged with both an Extended Throw and a Paddle Handle. Salt or fresh, like all Abu Garcia reels, they are "Built for Life".

Yep. That's actually a good find. eBay usually sells it for $220-230, but I'm still selling it cheaper than that.

That' OK.  I'd rather buy from an NCKA brother than someone on Ebay.

It's a great reel. I have 2 of em (had to buy a second after a t-shark melted the drag on my first one). They redesigned the entire Revo series in 2013...this is the older version. I am surprised there aren't more sales on the older versions. This exact reel was on sale for $129 not too long ago...it was posted it on here and lots of people got hooked up. http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com/featured-categories/abu-garcia-revo-toro-high-speed-sale.html

Thanks Sonny! It was nice to meet you in person.

Sonny is such a nice guy. Sonny said there was a really good restaurant down the street from where we met, and he invited me to lunch with him, but unfortunately, I had no choice but to decline because I had to help my friend move out right after. He also invited me to Crab Fest, but I told him I don't have a kayak, and he said that NCKA brothers look out for each other and they'll people with spares that'd me borrow one, and in fact, Sonny said if I make it out, he'll let me borrow one of his. What a nice and generous guy! I would've went to Crab Fest if I had more time to plan it out, but I had already planned on hanging out with my friends last night at Taste nightclub and knew I was gonna recover from a hang over and sleep in late today lol.
