Anyone ever fish for California halibut out of Trinidad? I figure they gotta be there but never hear about it. I don't know if it is not worth it, or if people wanna keep it on the down low.

I have heard of them caught near Camel Rock.   I would try in 30-60 ft water and work anywhere south along Moonstone to Clam beach.

Don't they migrate out in the winter?
