GS8 - Only one brief capsizing reported - WTG, Everybody!

I saw several yaks heading up 29 to 121 today. Jealous, very jealous.

The ball is in play for the greatest show on earth. All packed up for a 0 dark 30 departure. Safe travels and tight lines my friends. Life is good. See you in paradise.

I'm bringing my new cheapo Costco SUP - it's only 9'6", but it'll be fun.  You're welcome to paddle it, Tony.   

Fishmedic and I are packed and ready to leave in the morning.  Wahoo!  Let the fun begin.

My friends Kelly and Luana Schulz - owners of B2Squid - will be AT Gimme Shelter.  Please make them feel at home and buy some of their gear.  Their stuff catches all species (High Tech Hoochie in schwag bag) and is known for the halibut specialty pieces as well. 

This is getting very real and very exciting!  I just have to load the last of the gear in the morning, get the kids moving, drug them with some bonine, hit up Safeway, and we'll be on the road.  See you tomorrow at the Cove!!

We're hittin the road after Derik gets out of school. See you guys this evening!

Man I love my B2Squids!!!  Glad to hear there will be more available this year!  On the few that I have left I've caught so many fish it's insane!  I go with a dropper loop type setup 

With the current critical care situation with my grand baby, I can't consciously be away from her; therefore I will be canceling my trip to GS8 to be by her side....

Although this is one of my favorite events, her happiness is my first priority; there will always be next year!

For my brothers YAKHOPPER, CHUCKE AND MOMO, represent!
