I don't see you on the list, Scud.  Are you saying you sent in recently, or are you going to send in if you can get a shirt? 

If you do send in and I get it BY MAY FIRST then you're entered in GS8.1 and will get a shirt (XL) if you're one of the first 10 to enter GS8.1, and I'll send it with someone like JBaker to get to you.  Let me know what's up here or PM me.  thx

Yeah, this big furry guy (bear) stole a couple apples and tried to get more out of our cooler but it was tied shut..

Want to take a moment to remind everyone about some problems that could arise if people are unaware.  Not everyone follows the info here, so please pass these important advisories on to anyone who needs to hear it at the event:

- NEVER clean fish in the campground!  There's a fish cleaning station at the top of the ramp road.  Cleaning fish in the campground or other non-fish cleaning areas (hotels and rental houses) can result in disqualification and revocation of future GS attendance.

- DO NOT block the launch ramp!  If you've never been there and don't know the routine it may be easy to overlook that there's a tractor launch service that needs ample space to maneuver and turn around when launching powerboats.  Please remind each other often about staying out of the way of the tractor and other boat launching and landing activity.

Thanks for being mindful of how our presence affects the locals and other visitors to the Cove.

When you're launching, don't dilly-dally. Jump on your kayak and paddle out past the high-traffic area. Same thing when coming back in.

don't drop your crab traps/pots right in front of the launch, where the PB's can run over them. Drop them farther down the strand.
