Thanks Eric for all of your hard work here.  My brother and I will be attending again this year and this time I will not have to be a guest.  And of course I plan on whipping my brother fishing again this year.

Great slideshow.  I recognize a lot of those places, great memories.  You've actually got me thinking of going through the old shoe box and scanning photos now.

I've completed my first Trophy Trough for 2014.

Oldgrowth Redwood recovered driftwood from near the mouth of the Eel.  Whacked and sliced with sawzall, skilsaw and tablesaw (counting my fingers right now...  OK, I'm good.).

Not sure what this board will be assigned to...  Biggest fish over 40"?...

Working on rounding up some nice wood for trough production.  I usually drop $30 to $40 on a 4.5' chunk of full dimension 2 x 8 oldgrowth redwood at the local specialty lumber shop.  This year I decided to try to cut my own at the beach.  I'm making some progress, but so far it's way tougher than it looked!   :smt005 :smt001
