More whale tales...

Twice over the years I've seen, from the launch ramp, a whale breach vertically almost completely out of the water between the bell buoy and the lighthouse.  At the time I thought, "I've spent so much time right there - would they do that if I was there?..."

Had a great visit with LaWana Schulz this morning - I went to high school with her and Kelly - they're the owners of B2 Squid, and their tackle has become world renowned for its effectiveness on many game species - notably, Pacific Halibut, Salmon and Lingcod.  What better gear could there be for the Gimme Shelter schwag bags?!

Paired with Domenic's killer GS Special leadheads, we will see some special fish caught on the schwag tackle.

I like those B2 squids, they worked great on the simply fishing tournament.

Among many other fish, I caught my 26" 12 lb cabzilla in Trinidad last July on a root beer B2 squid tipped with a chunk of herring. I swear by those things.
