2013 AOTY awards???????

I'm down with the Lodi Lake boat house. It has a nice Patio where we could pot luck and BBQ. We could launch from the dock and hit the river. I'm up for anything and promise to throw one hell of a party. Not every year someone wins AoTY. Oh wait...

By the water is good ...... but fishing not so much. Last year as an example ......lots of people showed at the "event"  but  too many people were fishing, just finished fishing, or were late preparing their pot luck dish (due to fishing) to attend the actual ceremony. 

I'm in if the dates work out for me to.
I'll also bring the barrel and tritip.

I have a friend who owns a local winery I will see if he can come pour some Lodi Wine. Just need the dates.

This is getting better and better....DATES DATES DATES!! AND YES, I WAS ONE OF THOSE GUYS LATE TO THE AWARDS AND MISSED MY NAME AS WELL..AGREE, ITS MUCH BETTER OFF AT A SEPARATE AND DIFFER VENUE!

+1, my first NCKA event was at HMB kayak. There was supposed to be crabbing but it was raining. I was hooked to the group and we didn't even get on the water. NCKA is the best wherever we hang out.

We should have it at Del Valle. Guaranteed to rain. 

Thanks Dan, that's friggin awesome.  Lodi lake is so small and the fishing is not that great, so I don't think the potluck/missing awards ceremony will be big problem.  The last HOW event we did there was a lot of fun!

Lodi lake does connect to 20 miles of beautiful flat water paddling, but the fishing is difficult at best. Look forward to gettin you guys out on our local river.
