Noob!

Howdy! I've been an avid fisherman my whole life and just recently got into the kayak scene and am loving it. Have had the pleasure of ripping lips with some of the NCKA boys on the Salinas river the past few weeks. I'm looking to upgrade to a seaworthy yak so if anyone is trying to sell one or knows of good places to look in the Monterey area let me know! Happy fishin!

Check with MBK to see if they have any used or demo yaks on sale (same goes for seat, wetsuit, paddle). They had some good deals recently.

Salinas river was really good in December. Last time I hit it was last Saturday. Water was super brown and saw a few dead stripers floating around. Didn't get a single bite and nobody was hooking up consistently. I'm gonna wait for it to rain and hopefully the mouth opens up and the water cleans up

K thanks..someone mentioned it was over right now...just wanted to make sure i was'nt missing something and trying to avoid home projects this weekend
