You unearthed a gem Sir. :smt005

My fave so far.

Quote
This book really is one of the best huge ship avoidance references I've come across, not just for the effective methods it teaches as to avoiding huge ships, but also for exploding some of the huge ship avoidance myths that many of us take for granted.

*do not roll your boat over and play dead. Unless the huge ship is captained by a grizzly bear, this will not work.

Amazon has everything!
Including The Big Coloring Book of Vaginas http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000R0HU92/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1388084925&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40

Amazing reviews, too-like this one:

I find it sort of disappointing that Amazon doesn't have a "Look Inside" feature for this book's listing :( "

Having spent 24 years working on ships between 600 and 1000 feet long this book is not so stupid.

Not sure why so many small boats, kayaks, sailboats like to play chicken with 40.000 tons of steel.

One time going under Verizzano bridge into NY harbor witnessed a two man sailboat run right into the side of the ship while we were doing less then 5 knots.

First the USCG helicopter came out to rescue them then we waited for two hours at anchor while they investigated how a two man sailboat ran into the side of an 800 foot long ship.
