Got word that we will have some shirts and stuff,  it's not coming till Thursday so I'll need to come back and pick it up,  but we will have it by the weekend,  not a ton of stuff as they just sent what they had in the warehouse …

Skipro,  could you help out on Friday? I'll be there too…  we could use all the help we can get. Don't know about vendor parking …
 
I expect this booth to be very busy…

couple things about talking about HOW from my experience …

You need to be flexible,  and sometimes you may find yourself in a very "heavy" conversation quite quickly from a young vet to an old one, from a father or a mother of a vet,  and that may include a recent loss…  just take your time and listen,,, 

If a mother says she is a " Blue Mom ",  she has lost a son or daughter…  They are a powerful organization and want to help,  do everything you can to make them comfortable and anyway they want to help is fine..  it's sad,  but they are also dealing with it in action oriented way, so please lend them every opportunity to help ….

Overall it's just great talking about HOW / NCKA and sharing your passion of kayak fishing infecting the masses with the Madness…

But we are a trigger for something out there that is as deadly as a GWS, even more actually as we will lose on average 18 vets today due to suicide….

  Have fun with this,  but remember you may come face to face with what were battling here with HOW,  be patient and just listen,  your not supposed to have the answers…

 We just have something here that can really help and it's our job to get that message out and as Jim Dolan likes to say..

  " Get butts in seats!!! "

Be sure to stop by the area if your out and about…  I have been able to secure some HOW shirts from Dino up in WA HOW and Chad at Hook One has emptied their warehouse of everything HOW…  I don't know what that is right now and I'm hoping it's not a 47lb box of pink HOW hats…. 

We won't be getting the Hook One stuff till Friday, so selection will be very limited on Thursday… I have about 8 large green shorts sleeve and 2 3X green short sleeve… $20

more selections on Friday with more shirts, Hats,  ????

all $$$ goes to the cause…  There is also the

  Kayak Raffle being run by Dan at Headwaters to support Nor Cal HOW,  it's a kool yak…    

Being CJ at OEX San Diego, RacinRacidRob and another Hero yet to be determine have secured our New Nor Cal Fleet,

I do believe our next purchase will be a a 20' or so enclosed trailer, were getting there Everyone!!!

I've been looking at trailers. Just bought a new truck that will be able to tow it if need be too! No deals on trailers out there yet. I do know a guy who used to sponsor me at the race track who owns a trailer sales business. I will work on him when the time comes.

sounds pretty awesome….  My brother up in Grants Pass has some sort of in with a "Speed Auto Action?" in San Diego..   he says that he see's them all the time for around $2k.  We could use his "pass?" and there is a web site…

Why is everything in San Diego?   I like what your talking about Rob,  That sounds like probably all we need,  and local...

I don't think NCKA stickers will be there. Check the Classifieds topic for NCKA stickers I think Hojoman is taking care of that still.

  Just to be clear,  we are not representing NCKA at the Booth,  we talk about it and will guide people to the site and NCKA is part of the charter of how HOW works,

     but we are not representing NCKA at the show…  Just promoting Heroes on the Water…

we do not have NCKA shirts or anything else….
