Thanks for the opportunity to be involved with the HOW booth today.  If anyone is on the fence about coming out to give Don a hand, well, now is the time to get off it and get out there!  You will be blessed for the effort.  I sure was!!

Thanks Don.  Thanks Dan.  Thanks Matt.  Thanks Rob.  and thanks to everyone who made this happen this week.

Thanks Skipro for taking with the Eddyline rep towards the end of the night… I was spent and did not have much left…  you guys were on a roll though…

Very Kool Dan-O!!!

Thanks to Great Bass 2, Sahara,  BMB and his little one,  for maning the booth today and Vanilla-Gorilla and his wife or girlfriend for helping out too…  Very busy day, lots of talking with vets,  lots of people who want to help and lots of people who can help get to wounded vets.  Great showing of support and NCKA peeps everywhere…

Thanks PolePole for the stickers,  been dishing them out…

At least 1/2 dozen writers want to do stories,  Tom Stenstra was escorted by " Worm Guy " to buy a shirt and get involved…  Thanks Worm Guy,  been a while since I made contact with Tom and that's a crime...

Sales of shirts has been brisk and along with donations were over $500 so far…  I'm not sure what the shirts are costing us yet, but details!!!  :smt003

Thanks so much for the support everyone…  Lots of great contacts have been made and looking forward to expanding the HOW team to help our wounded warriors…

Were Bolting out of the gates for 2014…   there is going to be lots of activity with HOW this year and we could use as much help as anyone can give…

The demand and need is HUGE…  y'all know what a great sport kayak fishing is,  share your passion with our brave fighting folks…  you'll feel like a million bucks and just might save a soldiers life in the process….

Talk about a 'Win Win…"

Thanks to Dan from Headwaters Kayak in Lodi….  you really have made a huge difference in getting our chapter up to the next level…

and Thanks NCKA… without you this does not not work …

More to come….

  Ciao for now…   :smt006

Hey Don, it was nice to finally get to meet you today and I look forward to getting on the water with HOW someday soon.

Vanilla, sorry I didn't get the chance to officially introduce myself today.  I got pre-occupied with buying the new yak.  I will make it a point to chat it up at the next meet.  Are you coming to Crabfest or the Shoot and Chill?

Bret

Good hanging out with the HOW and team Headwaters and nice meeting you VG. Sold some T shirts and recruited a lot of vets who were very appreciative. When it was slow at the HOW booth, I tried to sell some Jackson kayaks.  :smt005 Need to work on the sales pitch.  :smt005 I didn't find any real deals, except for Craig's box of big hammers.  :smt003 Tx Craig.

Thanks Again to Dan and Headwaters Kayak shop in Lodi...

This opportunity could not have come at a more opportune time…

I'm not sure what the totals are on $$$ raised but we must be close to $1500 with kayak raffle, shirts and donations…

Thanks to everyone who helped out and supported the cause…

This was very successful…   Now it's time to organize all this information and start to expand our leadership team…

We really need some folks to step up and take some active roles along with more people volunteering at events,  lots of need out there…

I'm going to come back soon with a outline of what are we can use help with…

Looking forward to 2014 Nor Cal HOW and Getting Troops in Seats….    :salut:
