They also lost my entire catch last year :-/

Yeah, after it was already filleted, right?

Yeah, I suspect thats when it got FUBARed, maybe mixed in with others? When they brought the bags of fish up the ramp mine was not in the cart. And when they went looking they couldn't find it.

I'm bringing my "house shoes" this year to rock on the boat during the evenings, too.

Pimpin' it, Big D stylee.

Haha! If you consider an old raggedy ass pair of Uggs Big Pimpin'.  :smt006

Leave the fish cooler in your car. When you bring in some fish, they'll mark it with your number and put them on ice. Then they clean your fish while motoring back to SD. When you get back to SD, they give them to you in bags. Simply buy some ice (right there at fishermans landing) and throw it all into your fish cooler in the car.

I brought a 12pk of Sculpin Ale (cans) and 12pk of Coors light onboard with me, but felt super guilty about it. That said, it's probably ok to bring a 12pk or 6pk onboard...just keep it in your bunk. A small icechest w/b helpful if so, because it gets hot down there. If you do this, try to "match the hatch" and bring whatever they're serving...last year was Coors light.

With my thresher, they hooked me up on the cleaning fee...I think they only charged me like 10 bucks (of course I gave them way more than that). I told them to keep as much as they wanted and bag the rest in lots of bags...when we got back to SD, I handed out as much as possible to anybody who wanted some. Note: bring a fresh box of gallon ziplocks! The one thing that bummed me out was when they cleaned my shark, they threw out the tail & fins. That's probably what you're thinking of Andy.   I assumed they would ask before tossing overboard, but next time I will be clear...I remember I was gonna give the fins to Kiel and Alex or whoever else wanted them. I just wanted the tail so I could stroll the promenade and pimpslap fools with it. Was also gonna make a stencil of it on my tailgate.  Lesson learned.

Guys, last year we just walked on an claimed our bunkrooms.  There weren't any issues with this that I was aware of.  Anyone care to do differently this year?  Thinking maybe we can pre-draw for them, then we won't be rushing to get on the boat to cork each other.   :smt002

Either way, it would help if you pre-selected your bunkmate.

Stateroom layout.  There are 11 staterooms.  We currently have 20 registered.

I was in the way back last year and the diesel fumes made me seasick the first night.

If we're picking now than Kiel and I will take room G.

Same as last year.

I'd suggest we all pick a bunk partner then do some sort of pull a number out of a hat sort of thing for room assignments. Sounds fair.

F*ck that. Either we pick now or it's every man for themselves on game day!

I really like the draw straws idea. Last year Gary and I had C. Kinda cramped but I don't take up much space ;) I think I'm bunkin' with Raydon this trip... Raydon?

That's sort of what I was suggesting.  Having a free-for-all on this thread is only marginally better than having one at boat side.

Or you could just submit you partner info and top 3 preferences and I can make assignments.  Then all the heat is on me!    :smt004

Although I kind of feel like some preference should be given to those that were on the trip last year.  Just throwing that out there.  I know the old hats would like that and the new guys probably not.   :smt062
