Used it on 2 Islander trips. Works easy.
They also have a magnum if you want.

I used one like that for sardines and macs in Tomales and Linda Mar. I would guess it would work down there. Why not?

Used bait tube last Islander trip and worked fine. Thinking of making one or two more for the trip.

A few more questions:

So the boat sells water bottles and beers; but what about sodas/juices/snacks?

I heard they keep a running tab throught the weekend, then charge you at the end.  Can they take a card or is it cash only?

As was the case last year, this trip is being offered to NCKA via our friends at KayakFishingSupplies/OEX.  Call them at 619-866-6129 to place a $100 non-refundable deposit.   They are open 8AM to 5PM every day of the week.

I don't know the answers to those questions, so I pointed you in the best possible direction.  :smt003

Not sure, but between the three meals provided you won't be very hungry. Bring your own snacks if you want. They had fruit & stuff. I also don't think it would be a problem to bring a few sodas or juices....I think as long as you're not bringing a big ass cooler full of stuff you should be OK.

Each time you grab a beer or water, you mark it beside your name on the list. Then tally up the amount owed and pay while motoring back to port. I think beers were $2 each last year. They didn't have snacks for sale but did provide some snacks in between meals if you were hungry (and ON the boat). Dustin wouldn't know about stuff that happens ON the boat during the day because he was OTW all day long.  :smt002 I would double-check to see if they accept credit though.

He had a live squid pinned to a mega-bait, I believe.

Unorthodox, but it worked for him.....
