On my calendar to attend. Would like to shoot my old Winchester 62 rifle. I've had it for years, but have never fired it. I have a couple boxes of 22LR on order from Cabelas.

I'll try to bring Andie along too. She would probably get a kick out of it.

Hey Glen,

I may be able to join the shoot. Is there a age restriction at that range? My 11year old might want to come and shoot his .22

I will give it a try if I don't work the night before. Eric (EWB) maybe we can commute
together. Plus I owe you a lunch.

Thanks for the update. I guess i'll bring my 14year old daughter instead, if she doesn't change her mind. You could count me in!

Just got back from the range :smt003! Did a little scouting and some shooting; and the bad news is, the will not reserve any lanes for anyone or any group.

So to get lanes as close together as possible, we need to be there roughly around 8:45ish (they open at 9am) to put our gear on the lane we want; and they specifically said, "we can not reserve lanes for our buddies, one paid person can only occupy one lane."

We will be at Range #2, between lanes 18 thru 45; these are 50 yard target lanes. 1-17 are 100 yard lanes, 46-52 are 25 yard lanes.

The major draw back to this shoot range is, if you want change you shooting distance, you have to pick up and move all your gear to a lane that has the distance you want.

At Davis Street Range, you can set your target at whatever 25' incremental distance you want; however they are limited to 12 outdoor lanes.

this is why I want to know exactly how many folks are going to show up; if 12 or under plan to show up, we can probably just have it a Davis Street. However, if more intend to show up, then we will just keep it a Chabot Range.

I'm still in and the wife even wants to let off a little steam too, but we would share a lane.

Andie and I will be there. We're excited to play with our new toys.
This will be our first time at a range, so it will be a learning experience.
