Ha! I just saw this myself. What a killer deal. I wish I was in the market for another E4 cause I'd love to get it for that price with the free chip. Hope some NCKA can score this.

Thanks for the the info Mike.  If you're on a budget, they also has the Lowrance 4x for $99.97.

I've been in the market for one! Thanks for passing the deal along. Now I guess I gotta wait in the line at 7pm the day before. I guess I'll bring some hmb crabs to keep me company.

West Marine just mailed out the Holiday flyer I I KNOW there is a BUNCH of deals on Lowrance Elite units for the Holiday season.  Not sure if they are running a Black Friday offer but their regular Holiday price WITH the Gold Chip & "special rebate" is only $20 more than the 'Bass Pro Door Buster if I get there hella early, beat through the crowds, find someone to help me & wait hours in a check out line, I might get one' sale price.

Nice part is ....  NO long lines there to deal with making it almost a sure thing to get one  :smt002

Not sure when that offer begins.  I'd say 'hold tight' for a short bit & I'll see if I can find out when the offer begins.

Update:  Special offers & Rebates info to be announced on or after Nov. 25th

It's tough to find a color FF w/gps for under $200. But you get what you pay for...screen is kinda small and it's not really a "color" unit. Still a good deal.

Not a color unit?  Explain?  Are you making reference to the DSI model?

The color is ok when viewing the gps screen. But when viewing the actual sonar screen, the color is mediocre. I basically run the sonar in greyscale or reverse greyscale mode because the color options are difficult to see while OTW (they probably look fine when viewed inside a store though). The DSI unit runs the same display as the non-DSI, I think...it's a 256 color TFT @ 320x240px?

Like I said, it's a good deal for a color FF w/gps under $200.
Full disclosure, I had an Elite 4 and returned it for an Elite 5. I've been using it for a year now. It's only the 6th or 7th FF I have installed & used on a kayak. So I'm definitely not an expert--just sharing my opinion.

I wholeheartedly agrre that it is a great deal for the $200 mark.  For a little more, you can step to a 5" screen.

Thanks for the feedback Pat  :smt006
