Couldn't find anything in the regs about gifting crab. Can I get my 10 and "gift" them to my wife and go out and get 10 more? Thanks for the help.

Hey guys im thinking about going to duran beach around 5-6am to 11-12pm I just want to know is that time safe to head out. I only kayaked the straits and san pablo this would be my first ocean trip and dont really understand what is considered high knots..I just want to have a safe outting..any info is greatly appreciated

Fresh.  Parking will be an issues If you are any later.  FYI.

Tides will be minimal.  Make sure you have enough rope

Me and my fam will be out there this weekend. Doran is a super easy launch next to the jetty . But you better get there early....and I mean early!! Everybody and there mother is gonna be out this  weekend.

You won't need more than 40' of rope

I didnt take parking into consideration!.. I figured it'll be a mad house tho... ill try and leave earlier to at least get some type of parking...thanks for the insight guys.. hope to see ya'll on the water this season!

The general area forecast still looks good for Saturday morning.

The window will close fast on Saturday, please try an be off the water by 1pm; the weather starts to turn at 2pm.

BE VERY CAREFUL on the water!!! Dress for immersion, paddle with a buddy, stay in sight of your buddy and carry a RADIO!!!! Remember this is only the first day of the season we have all the way to June to catch crabs; it's not worth risking your safety for 10 crabs.....
