Hey man, if you start saving now for some new lures, you might be able to go next year too!  :smt005
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

What an awesome time chilling with my second family.

I got in about an hour and a half of fishing time working the schools where fish were surfacing for NADA!!! So since I am thinking of changing my name to ofor cause I am like 0-12 on the AR from the yak I decided to swing into AR restoration mode. I broke down one homeless encampment that looked to be deserted. Hauling out two full size wood pallets and a heap of trash. As I was headed back to the landing I see something on the other side of the river. From a distance I thought is was an AC unit and I was like crap how we gonna get this thing out. As I got close it saw it was a shopping cart. I tried putting it on top of the pallets and just about yardsaled. I had it strapped to the pallets and when I started to tip I had to cut it loose or I would've been upside down. Decided to take pallets and trash back and return for the cart.

It was pretty funny cruising back up and seeing everyone laughing at me and hobies new way to ______.

Got back to the landing with the cart off loaded it and began to chill with my homie Tim. The chills what it's all about anyways. Got to meet some new guys and hopefully some future salt fishing partners.

Adam thanks for getting this off the ground it was a great event.

Dan thanks for sponsoring and donating the wheeleezs.

Great photos guys. Had a blast yesterday. Weather paddling an potluck rated 10 out of 10. Fishing on the other hand sucked. Still it was awesome to get on the water and hang with old friends and new ones. It was great to see so many new people that I had sold boats to participating in their first NCKA event. Spreading the maddness! I took a ton of photos including a few really good ones of rider and his load. Will try to upload when I get to a real computer. For now check them out on the Headwaters Facebook. https://m.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=642527819101213&id=157958320891501&aid=1073741845&comment_id=6631596&offset=0&total_comments=1

Another great NCKA event! It was absolutely beautiful on the misty water as we headed out to fish. Sharon was one of the few people to hook up, but she lost it. The salmon towed her around a couple times until she was tangled with a nearby angler. Then her line turned into a twisted mess with no hope of reeling in, so I tried to pull it in by hand and the line broke. She enjoyed the thrill and can't wait to go back. I did a little cleanup and found bottles and cans plus one shoe, a squirt gun and an un-opened condom. We finally called it quits and headed in for some great chow. Tri-tip, Salmon, Sausage and too many other dishes to mention, plus some fabulous deserts. Thanks to everyone that contributed to an outstanding event.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan
